THE HOUSE OF STATISTICS is a consulting firm operating in the sector of research-data generation, M&E, and Health systems strengthening. The firm was established in 2019 and agreed in 2021 and is headquartered in Bujumbura, Burundi with regional and international collaboration. Its team of Consultants includes senior and junior statisticians, epidemiologists, public health and implementation scientists, academics, and health economists from the francophone and anglophone settings. Most of the Consultants have several years of experience providing quality assurance and technical assistance (QA/TA) services to countries mainly for large-scale surveys (e.g., MIS, MICS, DHS, Health Facility Surveys, coverage surveys, spot-checks, etc.), programme/projects evaluations, health systems strengthening, feasibility studies, and health policy analysis. These Consultants have experience with major health players including i) The Global Fund, ii) The World Health Organization, iii) Expertise France, iv) Team4Health, v) Sidaction France, vi) African Union, vii) Red Cross, viii) GSSHealth, ix) Cordaid, x) The University of Oxford, xi) University of Harvard, etc. and Ministries of Health (MoH) in central, west, and eastern Africa.
